PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coefficient adaptive processing technology that efficiently processes an adaptive filter. SOLUTION: A data memory stores an input signal and a coefficient memory stores a coefficient vector. A multiplication and accumulation unit reads the input signal from the data memory and reads the coefficient vector from the coefficient memory to execute convolution. A coefficient selection unit that is a separate unit from the multiplication and accumulation unit reads the input signal from the data memory and reads the coefficient vector from the coefficient memory to allow the multiplication and accumulation unit to execute the reading and to execute the coefficient adaptor at the same time, then the coefficient selection unit generates the adapted coefficient vector and writes the vector to the coefficient memory, which is used by the multiplication and accumulation unit to generate an output signal within a succeeding repetitive period to the convolution and each tap is executed in one machine clock cycle.
