PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a mosaic image with less distortion from a plurality of images of a photographing object having planarly unapproximatable depth variations. SOLUTION: A motion vector is found based on the position and attitude information of a camera (101), the motion vector is found by an image analysis from inputted image pairs (104), deviation values are excluded using the motion vector found by the both processes (105), a camera parameter is calculated based on the motion vector left by exclusion of the deviation values (106), the images are coupled according to the calculated camera parameter (107), and the mosaic image is outputted (108).
