PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the static power consumption of an output buffer in a data line driving circuit of a panel display device such as a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The data line driving circuit of the liquid crystal display device is provided with a selection circuit 20 for receiving plural voltages V1-V3 corresponding to the data lines 301-303 from a D-A converter 16 and alternatively outputting them, an analog buffer 22A connected to the output of the selection circuit, a distribution circuit 24 for receiving the outputs of the analog buffer and alternatively distributing them to one corresponding data line, and a pre- charge circuit 26 for pre-charging each data line with VDD or VSS according to at least the most significant bit of digital data in the 1st pre-charge period of each scanning selection period. |
