PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology allowing the high-speed attachment of an image while reducing a text data quantity and suppressing the degradation of image quality. SOLUTION: The ratio of scan line segment length in a texture image to texture line segment length on a unit graphic form is obtained as a reduction ratio (S2). The value of the reduction ratio is compared with a reference value 0.4 (S30). In the case the value of the reduction ratio is higher than the reference value, each picture element value on the scan line segment is obtained by linearly interpolating from picture elements close to the texture line segment on the texture image (S32). In the case the reduction ratio is less than the reference value 0.4, the average value of the picture element value of each picture element on the texture image corresponding to the concerned picture element is obtained as each picture element value on the scan line segment (S31). |
