<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for protecting privacy information capable of quickly providing information to user by efficiently writing and reading the privacy information. SOLUTION: Privacy information inputted from a user through an input device 1 is outputted to a connecting device 3, and personal identification information is outputted to a hash processor 2. The connecting device 3 stores the privacy information and the personal identification information hash-converted by the hash processor 2 in a storage device 4 while making them correspond to each other. At the time of reading the privacy information, the user inputs the personal identification information from the input device 1. The inputted personal identification information is hashed by the hash processor 2, and outputted to a retrieving device 5. The retrieving device 5 reads the corresponding privacy information from the storage device 4 based on the hash-processed personal identification information, and outputs the read information to the input device 1.</p> |
