PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage or stop of a device due to a bite to an aligning roller by a mingled foreign matter such as a clip and a hairpin in a coin inputting/outputting device receiving a plurality of coins thrown in at the same time. SOLUTION: A magnet is arranged in the aligning roller aligning the thrown-in coins in a line in one layer. When the foreign matter is thrown in, it is attracted by means of the magnet to be conveyed to the upper part of the aligning roller. The conveyed foreign matter is separated from the aligning roller by means of a cover covering the aligning roller from the upper side and discharged to an easily visible part on the cover. Then, the foreign matter is removed and prevented from being conveyed into the coin inputting/outputting device.
