PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail system that can further simplify utilization of a temporary mail service. SOLUTION: A pre-paid mail system 1, that issues an internet mail account under a restrictive use condition on the basis of an application from a user, is provided with a user information file 24 that stores user information, an authentication server 23, that authenticates the mail account of an accessing user on the basis of the user information, a mail server 10 that conducts internet mail processing to the authenticated mail account, and an account management section 26 that examines the restrictive use conditions of the mail account, depending on the use of the mail server and inhibits the use of the mail account which does not comply with the restrictive usage conditions.
