The trailer comprises a wheel axle frame (1) supporting wheel axles (5,7) and wheels (6,8) and a vessel-supporting frame (3) having a mobile stem or stern support (11) and hull support upon which is rested a vessel. The frame comprises a frame-lattice construction (15,16) providing longitudinal extending tubes (16) for guiding the frame along the stem and support, and has connected slide in/out elongate slide elements having floats (9) connected to the ends.
