MOBILE PHONE AND METHOD FOR REDUCING ITS CURRENT CONSUMPTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone where consumption of useless currents can be suppressed even when the mobile phone is provided with a communication function adopting a plurality of systems. SOLUTION: The mobile phone conducts call transmission/reception by the PDC(Personal Digital Cellular) system employing a wireless unit (PDC) 11 and a wireless control section (PDC) 21 and conducts call transmission/reception by the PHS system employing a wireless unit (PHS) 12 and a wireless control section (PHS) 22. A wireless control section 25 starts the PDC system consisting of the wireless unit (PDC) 11 and the wireless control section (PDC) 21 and the PHS system consisting of the wireless unit (PHS) 12 and the wireless control section (PHS) 22 in a standby state, stops the other of the PDC or PHS system when either of the PDC or PHS system is making a speech through call transmission/reception and starts again the other when the speech of the one of them is finished.
