PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial-direction wear detecting device for motor bearing, capable of facilitating core stacking work for forming a stator core assembly 37, and facilitating attaching of detecting sections 45F, 45R onto the stator core assembly 37. SOLUTION: Notched sections 41F, 41R are formed on both sides in the axial direction of a core outside-diameter section 40, on the outside diameter side of the stator core assembly 37 formed by stacking a plurality of stator cores 36. On the notched sections 41F, 41R, the detection sections 45F, 45R, having a detecting core 46 and a detecting coil 47 wound about the detecting core 46 are provided, so that magnetic fluxes in the circumferential direction passing through the core outside-diameter section 40 pass through the detecting core 46. Core stacking work for forming the stator core assembly 37 and the attaching of the detectors 45F, 45R to the stator core assembly 37 can thus be facilitated. |
