PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless lamp device which heightens the brightness of the lamp by improving the cooling efficiency of the lamp. SOLUTION: The wind sent out from a blower 9 passes through an ventilating hole 12 and blows the surface of an electrodeless lamp 1 from the top end of an exhaust nozzle 15 for lamp cooling. As the wind velocity of cooling air is sufficiently high even at the neighboring area of the electrodeless lamp, the cooling efficiency of the lamp is heightened, and the input density of the lamp, namely the brightness, is improved. |
