PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory management system capable of protecting this system by restricting the unauthorized use of a memory by an application. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a means for registering a memory area 3 to be assigned for the execution of an application 4 from among all memory spaces 2 in a memory management table 5 set for memory management, a means accepting the assignment request of a necessary memory size issued by the application 4 to be executed on the memory 2 to a memory management system 1, a means judging whether or not the assignment of the memory size whose assignment request is issued to the memory management system 1 is available, and a means registering the memory size and the assigned area in the memory registration table 5 when the assignment of the memory size is available, and notifying the application 4 of the assignment of the memory size whose assignment request is issued, and, when the assignment is unavailable, notifying the application 4 of the invalidity of the assignment.
