PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience for use by facilitating the action for retrieving desired music from massive data. SOLUTION: The information reproducing device is provided with a totalizing means (flash memory 2) which counts and stores the number of times of reproduction of each information and a control means (CPU 1) which performs reproducing control on the basis of the totalization result of the totalizing means are provided. The totalizing means adds a prescribed value to the totalized value of object music with respect to music selected and reproduced by a user and doesn't count the number of times with respect to information reproduced without user's will in a random reproducing or scan reproducing mode or the like and counts only a prescribed number of times at the time of repeatedly reproducing the same music a prescribed number of times or more in a repeat reproducing mode and subtracts a prescribed value from the totalized value of skip object music in a reproducing skip mode.
