The display unit consists of a deployable frame (3) which stands on the ground and has a vertical face (5) on which flexible panels (2a, 2b) carrying visual information can be displayed. The upright members of the frame have in-line magnetic supports (7a, 7b, 7c) to engage with magnetic patches (13) and strips on the edges of the flexible panels.
