PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device which realizes real-time recording and reproducing by slip processing. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a means which reads out scrambled data recorded in a temporary storage means and adds another ID to this data and scrambles it again and records it, and scrambled protection data obtained by adding another ID to data after modulation processing is prepared during write to an optical disk of this data, and protection data are written on the optical disk continuously at the time when an optical disk write error has occurred. Even in the case of the occurrence of a write error, all data recorded in the temporary storage means can be continuously written on the optical disk without reading in data from a host again. |
