VOLTAGE BOOSTING SYSTEM AND IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage boosting system capable of adequately suppressing the excessive power consumption of a load which need not use all applied voltages as driving voltages when the voltage applied from a single power source is boosted to generate the driving voltage for the load according to the voltage. SOLUTION: An output buffer 140 of a CCD image sensor 100 is applied as the driving voltage with the voltage generated by boosting the source voltage of the system power source 500 by a high-voltage charge pump circuit 210. An output buffer 150 is the load which need not use all the voltages applied for this voltage boosting system as the driving voltage and its low-potential side electrification end which should normally be grounded is connected to the voltage supply end of the system power source 500.
