PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional information transmission system wherein the information is so reported on the approach of a bus or the like by a cellular phone as i-mode (R) mail: that there is the possibility that the user may think by mistake, that a bus has not come yet, even though it is in fact approaching him, because this information is being sent wirelessly and therefore there is no guarantee that the information will arrive at the cellular phone. SOLUTION: The approach of a bus or the like is reported by i-mode mail or telephone, only if the bus is delayed. Thus, if thee is no report, since the user will go to a bus stop at the scheduled time, the risk of missing the bus is avoided even though the user may result in waiting in vain.
