PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic deciding device for a transmission software file, a device which is effective in the reliability of mail transmission, the improvement of operating efficiency of a receiving side and software data protection. SOLUTION: This automatic deciding device is provided with a mail receiving circuit receiving mail transmission from a transmitting side, a reception rejection transmitting circuit which has at least one circuit among a memory capacity confirmation circuit comparing file capacity attached to the mail transmission with the memory residual capacity of a receiving side machine, a read file confirmation circuit confirming whether a receiving side prepares tool software for opening a file and a reception rejection file confirmation circuit confirming whether or not the file is a beforehand registered reception rejection file and returns a mail subjected to reception rejection by any of the confirmation circuits to the transmitting side without opening the mail, a reception rejection recording circuit recording the message of the rejected mail and an automatic erasing circuit automatically erasing the mail itself, and can therefore ensure the reliability of information transmission, improves the operating efficiency of the receiving side and protect software data.
