PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the communication cost, and to efficiently provide a latest patch from a maintenance center. SOLUTION: The maintenance center is provided with a patch transmitting server for providing all patches as satellite data broadcasting capable of performing a large capacity of data communication, and each customer site is provided with a patch receiving client for selecting and introducing only the patch suitable for the equipment constitution of a system to be managed at each customer site from the patches received as broadcasting. In this case, the patch is provided as broadcasting so that it is not necessary to perform access through a public line to a patch managing server at each customer site, and that it is possible to reduce communication costs. Also, after the patch is introduced, the patch performed result data are transmitted to the maintenance center by satellite communication so that it is possible to expect the maintenance center to facilitate quick countermeasures even when the patch introduction fails.
