PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can acquire a background image through simple processing. SOLUTION: Images sampled from an animation including a moving object are segmented into small regions of the same square size. For each small region, the computation of a correlation value between an image sampled at every constant time and an immediately previously sampled image is repeated, and the value is used to determine whether a change occurs from the immediately previous image or not. From the transition of time, it is determined whether the image pictured in the small regions is a background or not, so that a background image can be acquired. |
