<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remultiplex a valid transport stream(TS) even in a simple environment, in which a host controller for managing the TS inputted from the outside does not exist. SOLUTION: A multiplexing unit 3 is provided with a TS input board 21 for inputting the TS from the outside, a video encoder board 22, an audio encoder board 23 and a multiplexer board 24 for remultiplexing the TS outputted from these boards 21, 22 and 23. In the multiplexer board 24, a PMT information list showing the PID of TS packet related to each of programs to be sent is acquired from the TS input board 21 and the encoder boards 22 and 23 and on the basis of this information, PAT and PMT are newly generated.</p> |
