PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for text processing which facilitate knowledge management. SOLUTION: A first computer has a text data repository housing the text data, a style sheet repository storing at least one style sheet for displaying the text data with a second computer in a desired format, and a hierarchical management relating means capable of managing the text data hierarchically and applying an optional style sheet stored in the style sheet repository to the desired text data by each hierarchy. The second computer has a perusal means for displaying the desired text data in a desired format by applying the desired style by referring to the hierarchical management relating means through a network. |
