PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving operation method and a system thereof, that determine the operation method that minimizes electric power consumption in an entire thermal power station and that saves energy as a whole in the power station. SOLUTION: A company, that undertakes energy-saving operation for the thermal power station from the owner of the power station collects the present operating conditions of the power station to sum up the present operation data. To achieve variable-speed operations, inverter devices are used for fans, pumps and the like that drive each facility constituting the power station. An operation pattern is determined, that minimizes the total electric power consumption of those fans, pumps and the like. Actual operation conditions are collected, based on the determined operation pattern to sum up actual operating data. A process for billing the energy charge to the owner of the power station is conducted, according to the saves electric power, based on the difference between the present operating data and the actual operation data. |
