PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup apparatus through which a user is capable of accurately observing the condition of a subject just before a shutter is released and taking a picture of the subject, selecting optimal exposure conditions. SOLUTION: An image pickup apparatus is equipped with image pickup means 1 and 2 that take a picture of a subject, a display unit 14 which displays a plurality of images picked up under different exposure conditions obtained by actually driving an exposure control means on the basis of different control values corresponding to different exposure conditions, a selecting means 7 which selects a specific image out of a plurality of images displayed on the display unit 14, and an information processing means 10 which records the exposure conditions in a recording means so as to reproduce only the selected image. |
