摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection device capable of reducing effective flyback capacitance. SOLUTION: A video display deflection device includes first and second flyback capacitance. A deflection coil is connected to first and second flyback capacitors C1a and C1b, and a resonance circuit is formed of the deflection coil and the first and second flyback capacitors. A first switching transistor Q1 is connected to the first flyback capacitor, and a resonant first flyback pulse voltage V1 is generated in the resonance circuit. A second switching transistor is connected to the second flyback capacitor, and allowed to respond to the first flyback pulse voltage V1. A second flyback pulse voltage is generated in the second flyback capacitor so that capacitive voltage transformation can be obtained. A modulator modulates the deflection currents of the deflection coil without substantially changing the phase difference between the first and second flyback pulse voltages, so that horizontal raster distortion correction can be performed.
