TRANSMITTING METHOD FOR ANNOUNCEMENT INFORMATION, LINE CONTROL STATION AND BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden in a mobile communication system and to effectively utilize a channel by hierarchizing announcement information and performing multicast transmitting in the mobile communication system. SOLUTION: The announcement information from a line control station (RNC) 10 of the mobile communication system to base stations (BS) 11-18 is transmitted by multicast while using multicast addresses. In this case, the announcement information can be hierarchized and the announcement information of different hierarchies can be transmitted in different announcement signal transmitting cycles or different transmitting ranges as well. Besides, hierarchizing of the announcement information and transmitting of the announcement information of different hierarchies in the different announcement signal transmitting cycles or different transmitting ranges is utilized for transmitting the announcement information from the base station to the mobile station as well.
