PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil which is assembled easily, has sufficiently strong adhesion strength, and has superior appearance. SOLUTION: A choke coil is composed of an air-core coil 1 wound with an insulating electric wire, a rectangular parallelepiped pot-type core 3 which is U-shaped in cross section and provided with lead wire leading grooves 2 and 2, through which the terminal lead wires of the air-core coil 1 are led out, a plate-type core 4 which is T-shaped in cross section and equipped with a columnar projection 5, and an insulating sheet 6 with a hole, in which the columnar projection is fitted. A gap layer is formed by the insulating sheet 6, an adhesive agent 8 is applied on the tip face of the columnar projection 5, and the pot-type core 3 and the plate-type core 4 are brought into direct contact with each other and are bonded together.
