The air conditioning for a motor vehicle has a compressor (2) regulated using coolant flow from a pressure chamber (12) into the feed chamber (7), or from this chamber into the suction chamber (3). One regulator (14) is connected to two independent valves (4,8), one (8) being in the inlet of the feed chamber and the other (4) in its output zone.
