<p>A gas discharge tube comprises two or more conductive opening members disposed in a passage route of thermions between a cathode and an anode and an insulator which electrically insulates the conductive opening members, thereby emitting light of high luminance. The starting property upon the light emission can be enhanced by suitably setting the opening area of the conductive opening member on the rear stage of the thermion passage route.</p> |
