<p>Printing resolution parameters of an inkjet printer are obtained and these are used to fabricate an extrusion tool for making lenticular sheets or foils (10). A lenticular sheet or foil (10) is extruded with the tool to have a spacing (SL) between the microlenses proportional to the printer resolution value. One or more elements are digitized and stored in a general purpose programmable computer. The computer segments the data for each image into raster pixel lines and interleaves the segments into a merged file. A printer of the type from which the printing resolution parameters were obtained prints the merged file on the lenticular sheet.</p> |
