The support frame construction includes front (1) and rear cross members (3) and a pair of right hand and left hand components (5) which interconnect the cross members and which have an upper and a lower plate with a hollow space in between them. The shapes of the upper and lower plate which extend from the lower plate face, to which is attached the fastening section for the suspension arm, to the rear side of the lower plate, have in the main a spherical dome form.
