The ball mill has a grinding cavity rotating round its cylinder axis, in which free-moving balls grind the material. Metal segments are fitted on the internal wall of the cylinder. The metal segments (4) are radially insulated against vibration and body noise in the enclosed outer jacket (2) which supports them.
