PURPOSE: A Banbury mixer is provided to make the mixing action of a rubber material and various other materials to be uniformly and rapidly performed, and to effectively control the temperature during a mixing process. CONSTITUTION: In the Banbury mixer comprising rotors(33,34) rotating around a rotating shaft(23,24) within a chamber(10), the rotor has a circular cross section, and plural grooves(33a,34a) are formed at regular distances on the outer circumferential surface of the rotors along a longitudinal direction of the rotors. In addition, other two rotors rotatable about other two rotating shafts are disposed on opposite sides to each other so as to be rotated toward opposite directions while forming a conical shape.
