The invention relates to a device for distributing and receiving articles in the form of sheets of paper, particularly banknotes, documents and the like, comprising the following: a support for the articles, which can be moved in a pipe with the aid of flowing gas and which contains two elements which can move relative to each other; said elements forming at least one channel extending in a transverse position in relation to the direction of conveyance; said elements, when in a closed position, protect the articles in the receiving element; in an open position said elements allow the articles to be transported in and out of the receiving element. The invention also comprises a receiving and transmitting device comprising a pipe section, wherein the support for distributing and receiving the articles is situated and which is supplied with a lateral opening which can be locked by locking means; a slider for transporting the articles in and out of the support, wherein the slider is movably mounted relative to the pipe section between a backward position and a forward position and is provided with a holding section for receiving and holding the articles; the slider projects in the forward position into the channel of the holding section and triggers off a movement of the elements in the support in the open position thereof. |
