RADIOSENSITIVITY ENHANCERS IN RADIOTHERAPY FOR CANCER AND NUCLEIC ACIDS AND PROTEINS ENHANCING RADIOSENSITIVITY

摘要

Using radiosensitivity enhancers containing, as the active ingredient, nucleic acids having the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:3, proteins having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:4 etc., the radiosensitivity of malignant tumor cells is enhanced. Owing to this sensitization effect, radiotherapy is made efficacious against radio-tolerant malignant tumor or malignant tumor having lowered radiosensitivity.
