The invention relates to a device for indicating manipulations of electricity meter (2) connections. Said device comprises a live conductor (P) and a neutral conductor (N), one ammeter (3) for measuring the current that flows through the live conductor (P) and an additional ammeter (5) for measuring the current that flows through the neutral conductor (N) and in addition, a memory for the measured current values. The measured values of both ammeters (3, 5) are supplied to a quotient generator and changes in said quotient are supplied to a display device.
