PURPOSE: An advertising method using a broadcast receiver connected to a network is provided to use a broadcasting network only when transmitting advertising data, and to use the Internet only when transmitting information necessary for an Internet service, to use different media according to an advertising transmission and the Internet service. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast receiver selects a specific channel(S10). The device displays an interface for selecting an Internet service and an advertisement broadcasting(S20). If the Internet service is selected through the displayed interface, the device supplies the selected Internet service with the advertisement broadcasting to a user(S30-S50). If the user uses the Internet service while watching the displayed advertisement broadcasting, the device extracts usage details of the Internet service(S51-S53). If the advertisement broadcasting is not displayed while using the Internet service, the supplied Internet service is suspended(S60, S70). |
