A MECHANISM FOR TRANSMISSION OF COORDINATED MOVEMENT

The Mechanism of Coordinated Movement (MCM) is designed for coordinating the movement of the optical axes in the magnifying glasses used in a variety of areas including the surgery and the electronics. The MCM-device consists of an upper and a lower lid with channels carved in where the axis of the gear wheal moves. This wheel is constantly clutched by two symmetrically placed cogged strip-details and each of them has two guiding channels. In one of the channels goes a separate immovable axis fixed to the both lids whereas in the other one goes the movable axis of the gear wheel. This mechanism is particularly suitable for magnifying glasses with variable degree of magnification where each particular magnification requires a different angle between the optical axes.
