摘要 Process for measuring the concentration of peroxodisulfate in a process comprises continuously removing a sample solution containing the peroxodisulfate to be determined and a further oxidant; feeding the solution to a measuring cell (6); intensively mixing the solution with a catholyte solution consisting of an electrically converted sample solution; measuring the redox potential using an electrode in the cell and a measuring transformer (16); regulating the redox potential using a current from a device (17) to a value for which the whole of the peroxodisulfate and no oxidant is converted; adjusting the current using a controlled current source (18); and using the current measured by a device (19) as a measure for the concentration of peroxodisulfate. An Independent claim is also included for a device for measuring the concentration of peroxodisulfate in a process. Preferred Features: The oxidant is Fe (III). Non-linearity of the redox potential concentration characteristic line is compensated for using algorithms in the regulating device.
