PURPOSE: A method and a system for multimedia baby teaching by using a projector are provided to stimulate the interest of a baby by projecting a picture and to perform interactive teaching and learning by projecting contents with response to the reaction of the baby. CONSTITUTION: A teaching machine processes the educational contents inputted to a data reader and displays the contents on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(16b). The light emitted from a light source is projected on a screen. To use the educational contents, a user installs a removable ROM(Read-Only Memory) pack(32) in the teaching machine or downloads the contents from a specific Internet server(31) through the Internet. The teaching machine outputs video and audio signals transmitted from an external device(40) via a projector or a speaker. The teaching machine includes a control signal receiving unit(11), an external device connecting unit(12), a memory(13), a memory connecting unit(14), a control unit(15), and a projection unit(16).
