APPARATUS FOR INJECTING LAMINAR FLOW WITH PREVENTING COOLING WATER FROM FLOWING INTO STRIP EDGE SECTION

PURPOSE: A laminar flow injecting apparatus is provided to improve the quality of an article and to prevent an edge part of a strip from being suddenly cooled by shielding cooking water supplied into the edge part of the strip. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of rails(7) are continuously arranged along a width of a strip(3) positioned at an upper portion of a roller table so as to form a sliding surface at a center of a body. A distributing tank(1) is mounted on the sliding surface of the rails(7) in order to inject cooling water into a strip through a hose(6). A rack bar(8) is arranged at both ends of the distributing tank(1) so as to bind the distributing tanks(1). A cylinder(10) is installed in a space formed between the distributing tanks(1). A rod of the cylinder(10) is connected to the rack bar(8) so as to move the distributing tank(1) along the rails(7). At least one cooling water cover(12) is provided to guide cooling water dropped into an edge part of the strip towards an outer part of the strip. A control system controls the position of the distributing tanks(1).
