PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for searching an ideal type object using a Bluetooth are provided to input self personal items and taste in a self terminal, input information of an object to an ideal type in the self terminal, and notify the ideal type object to the user when an object terminal in which information which is identical to the ideal type is inputted enters within a communication range. CONSTITUTION: An MSM(Mobile Station Modem)(10) embodies a microprocessor, a codec, and a vocoder, and an interface function as one chip. A bluetooth link management unit(20) performs the composition and setting of a bluetooth link and encryption. A bluetooth signal control unit(30) controls each unit for performing the signal process and functions of a terminal using a bluetooth protocol. An RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting and receiving unit(40) transmits and receives an RF signal with a frequency range(2.402GHz-2.480GHz) capable of being used in a bluetooth. A data storing unit(50) stores information of a user and an ideal type. An information output unit(60) notifies an ideal type object when the user searches the ideal type object.
