<p>A part for a machine, characterized in that it comprises a steel having a content of carbon of 0.2 % or more and it has a content of hydrogen of 0.04 ppm or less after hardening by heat treatment. The part preferably has a hardness after hardening by heat treatment of Hv 450 or more. The part for a machine is excellent in ultra-long-term fatigue characteristics, and thus can be suitably used as a bearing ring of a rolling bearing and a rolling element.</p> |
