PURPOSE: An Internet IP(Internet Protocol) multicasting/broadcasting method in a mobile communication system is provided to transmit one IP multicasting/broadcasting message from a PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node) to a BSC(Base Station Controller)/PCF, transmit the IP multicasting/broadcasting message to a BTS(Base Transceiver Station) managed by the BSC/PCF in the BSC/PCF, and transmit the IP multicasting/broadcasting message to a system broadcasting/multicasting traffic channel or control channel in the BTS. CONSTITUTION: A PDSN(201) transmits a multicasting/broadcasting message to a BSC/PCF(211) through a TCP/UDP(Transport Control Protocol/User Datagram Protocol) port. The BSC/PCF(211) receives the multicasting/broadcasting message and transmits the received multicasting/broadcasting message as a cellular multicasting/broadcasting request type to all or a part of BTSs(221) according to the attribute of message header information. The BTS(221) transmits a received BSC message to a broadcasting channel so that the corresponding message is received in a mobile communication terminal(302).
