PURPOSE: A device for defrosting evaporator of refrigerator is provided to make air circulation for defrost of the evaporator smooth. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a heat exchange chamber(61); a circulation pipe(80); and a circulation fan(82). The heat exchange chamber is where an evaporator(60), generating cold air by exchanging heat with refrigerant, is installed. The circulation pipe forms a closed passage from a machine room(70) via the heat exchange chamber to the machine room again to contact with a refrigerant pipeline(62) in the evaporator. The circulation fan circulates hot air in the machine room through the circulation pipe.
