DEVICE FOR COLLECTING IRIS IMAGE OF BOTH EYES

PURPOSE: A device for collecting an iris image of both eyes is provided to lessen a distance between the iris images of both eyes obtained as the CCD(Charge Coupled Device) image in order to obtain the information amount of both iris images. CONSTITUTION: A cornered reflection mirror(403) is used to lessen the distance between the iris images of both eyes focusing on the CCD(402) through a lens(401) and is inclined to one direction from the M1 to the M2 position by a specific angle. Because of such structure, the distance between both eyes of the iris images becomes short when both eyes(A1,B1) is focused on the CCD through the lens by the reflection mirror. An eye image of the reflected image of the real eye is moved from B1 to B2 and the iris image focused on the CCD is obtained from the moved position from B1' to B2'. Thus, the distance between both irises of the reflected image becomes short from D1 to D2 and the distance between both irises focused on the CCD becomes short from d1 to d2.
