The curtain-rod (1) is fixed on the internal surface of a room such as on a building wall (2) by means of at least two holders (3,4). Each underside of the holders has a container opening towards the underside and into which fits the curtain-or from the underside. At least one pulley (15) in the form of a cable, cord or chain is joined to the curtain rod. Each holder forms a body (5) one end of which is fixed to the building wall and the other end of which as the container.
