The method involves reducing heat loss on the side exposed to sunlight by the interaction between a primary absorber (40) and a thermal reflector (105) arranged before the absorber in the solar radiation direction so as to cover it. The transparent thermal reflector strongly reflects heat so as to reflect heat from the primary absorber back to itself.
