PURPOSE: A cylindrical roller for point planting is provided to reduce the human power required for the planting of grass, and also to considerably reduce the cost of planting work. CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical roller(20) for point planting is provided with plural projections(22) arranged outwardly at regular distances along the outer circumferential surface thereof and an operation handle(24) fixed to center points of both right and left side surfaces of the cylindrical roller. The projection has a circular or square form. The interior space of the cylindrical roller is maintained in an empty space, and in order to adjust the weight of the cylindrical roller, a water injection port(23) is formed at one side of the cylindrical roller.
