The invention concerns a method for controlling transmission power in a mobile radiocommunication system, whereby the transmission power of at least two separate physical channels, transmitted by the same transmitter, is controlled by an algorithm, on the basis of a transmission quality target value (SIR target) corresponding to a first channel, used as reference, and whereby a transmission power offset (PO) of a second channel relative to the first channel is applied if necessary. The method is essentially characterised in that in case of modification in the required transmission conditions, it consists in applying to said target value (SIR target) a variation of a first value ( DELTA 1), and to said power offset (PO) a variation of a second value ( DELTA 2), so that said first channel should have its transmission power modified by said first value and the second channel should have its transmission power modified by a value equal to the difference ( DELTA 1- DELTA 2) between the first and said second value. |
